Autoclaves

Autoclaves or Steam Sterilisers are designed to create and contain the high temperatures necessary to sterilise equipment and materials. By using high-pressure steam, they effectively eliminate microorganisms from surfaces and solutions, ensuring a sterile environment.
Class B autoclaves utilize a vacuum pump to completely remove air from the chamber, which enables steam to better penetrate the load.
Class B autoclaves typically utilize two common cycles: a standard cycle at 134°C for about 3-4 minutes and a delicate cycle at 121°C for around 15 minutes. These cycles include a pre-vacuum phase to remove air, followed by steam sterilization and a drying phase
